Your primary tasks will be to provide support to the company with a focus on graphic design for web, social media and print. You will work directly with the CEO and Creative Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You love design, branding and digital media. You have a creative soul and thrive in environments that give you just enough room and structure to do some of your best work. You have a defined aesthetic that you continue to hone and develop. You love being your own boss but also like working in a collaborative, team environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re talented. You\u2019re passionate. And you want to be a part of something great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Core Duties \/ Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work with the Creative Director to ensure designs follow aesthetic standards, strategic direction and brand identity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute your visual direction, graphic design and personal touch on in-house projects and client work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design print, web and social media layouts and templates for clients and in-house applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Producing branded design mock-ups, e-books and catalogues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pre\u2013flight and prepare files for print<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (particularly Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A keen eye for trends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defined design aesthetic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of typography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to design for print<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to juggle numerous tasks at once<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work within tight &amp; efficient deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to use initiative and work independently when required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent knowledge of written and verbal English and French<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the Teakie community and act as brand ambassador<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Illustration skills are bonus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work-Life Philosophy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Teakie, we believe that people do their best work in flexible environments.
