Position Overview:
The Studio Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our creative studio, managing workflows, schedules, budgets, and resources while delivering a seamless project execution. This role ensures that our design, strategy, and content teams have everything they need to produce high-quality work on time. Acting as a bridge between the creative team and other departments, the Studio Manager will ensure smooth communication, timely execution, and a premium experience that reflects Teakie’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the creative studio, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
- Manage and optimize the production schedule, coordinating cross-functional team efforts, and allocating resources to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering superior client service by managing expectations, providing clear communication, and ensuring satisfaction at every stage of the project.
- Act as the primary liaison between the creative team and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Foster excellence by ensuring that all creative outputs meet the highest quality standards and align with Teakie’s brand and client requirements.
- Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes to enhance productivity and collaboration, while proactively addressing any operational challenges.
- Ensure studio equipment and resources are maintained and properly utilized, managing inventory, scheduling, and vendor relationships as needed.
- Oversee freelance talent, contracts, and external vendors to support project requirements while maintaining quality control.
- Monitor project progress, providing consistent updates and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Drive adherence to Teakie’s quality standards, ensuring that all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and exceed client expectations.
- Continuously explore opportunities to elevate the studio’s products, services and operational capabilities, aligning with the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects or business analysis, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management expertise with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering collaboration and driving performance.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) is an asset.
- Highly developed organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with creative software tools (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and project management platforms (Asana, Trello, etc.) is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality and performance excellence.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Experience working with high-end clients or in industries where premium service and top-tier client experience are critical.
